Everyone has a bike at home. They’re the simplest of inventions, you get on and go. Yet bicycles have lot going on to make them move as efficiently as they do. This course explores some of the magic and mystery of bikes and how their parts go together to make such a successful whole. We’ll pose and solve questions around aerodynamics, discover how to use maths to avoid falling off and ask the ultimate cycling question – ‘Is it possible to ride a square wheeled bicycle?’
